Who Do You Look Like?
- Ebay Anyone?
I sometimes sell the odd thing - but the charges are pretty steep. Sold a pair of jeans for £41 and got charged nearly a fiver altogether for Paypal / Seller fees / Listing fees etc. However, i suppose i would never have made that much on them if I'd been selling at a car boot sale, so I'll let them off - Just!- Breakfast Mad Turbin Wearer?
Not far off... theres people claiming that this is white mans land - is it racist? By "Blackie" i think he meant more than one black man / woman and by "land" i reckon he meant wherever they originally came from.- Breakfast Mad Turbin Wearer?
Some people? Who is stirring up racial hatred then? Nothing can and nothing will be done about mosta moaning about that arrogant man on breakfast. As it happens, there are people with exactly the same views posting on the BBC website - which is strictly moderated. Why not try to take the BBC to court then... *yawn* Anyway... why employ ethnic people with no qualifications over a white person with qualifications? isn't the police force contradicting themselves here - all this equal opportunities patter- well it inst equal is it? If I'm qualified and someone else is not, then i should get the job - not the other person just because they are black. Its stupidity. "Why should there be a quota system in what should essentially be a race-less institution? By even talking quotas, the Home Office has made race an issue. Why is there a Black Policemen's Association? If they tried to create a White Policemen's Association, it would be branded rascist. Double standards."- Breakfast Mad Turbin Wearer?
I know, racism towards white people SUCKS and should be stamped out!- Breakfast Mad Turbin Wearer?
Their streets? Honestly, if we said we didn't want black policemen on OUR streets we'd probably get done for Racism. Anyway, I don't care what colour policemen or woman are, as long as they do their job properly!- Breakfast Mad Turbin Wearer?
I saw it too, the Asian was agreeing that if a white man or woman was qualified, against a black man or woman who wasnt, then the white person should get the job... but the black man was saying that, even if the black person wasnt qualified, he / she should automatically get the job anyway...- Us University Shooting Spree
I know, they are completely deluded. Absolutely crazy... If everyone in the street walked around with a gun in their pocket...- Gallerys
Threegee, you could always change the banner on the site - the current one looks a bit drab and doesn't reflect the vibrant, cheerful community that is Bedlington!- Barrington
Thats a really interesting site monsta, well done.- House Explodes In Blyth
Who cares if the topic isnt about Bedlington - look at previous posts and you'll see that most of them are general discussions about anything and everything. If we only talked about stuff happening in Bedlington then... well we wouldnt have anything to talk about because nothing much happens here.- Us University Shooting Spree
You can't give guns to children though can you?- 'Neglected Building'? (Opposite St. Cuthberts)...
Yeah, i heard it used to be a school at one time. Its been in this state for a long time now, I personally don't want to see yet another new development there in its place...- Hello Bedlington
Hi Esme, did you used to live in Bedlington?- Us University Shooting Spree
I cant believe its happened again, how many times does this have to happen before laws on guns are tightened in America? BBC Report 30,000 people die every year in America from gunshot wounds. "Police SWAT teams now regularly visit American schools to teach students how to react to a shooting - testament to their unhappy status as one of the country's prime killing grounds." (Timeline: US shooting Sprees) Imagine that, sending your kid to school knowing that today, they'd be getting lessons on how to survive a gunman. Its sad.- 'Neglected Building'? (Opposite St. Cuthberts)...
A lovely computer generated photo of clean streets, clean people, blue skies etc... I notice how they don't mention the railway lines running opposite, or the high school and its hundreds of kids trooping past every day bricking the windows. Just look at Petes shop on the corner, (Actually you cant see it on that photo as its not even real, but its the corner shop opposite the development). He has his windows put out at least twice a week, i don't even think he bothers to have them replaced now.- 'Neglected Building'? (Opposite St. Cuthberts)...
I've just updated my gallery, can anyone tell me what the building is that I've named 'Neglected Building'? (Opposite St. Cuthberts). Oh, and let me know what you think!- Restaurant Review
Hahahaha... Sounds like all the left over pieces from the kitchens thrown into one dish... I'm surprised they didnt throw in some stewed sheep !*!@# .- Whos Betting On The National This Year?
Quite a few people got some money back then, my brother won too... I won last year like so I cant complain too much!- Gallerys
Maybe your internet connection just keeps going down, mine does that from time to time. Even though the image is 287kb, what dimensions does it have? I think images any bigger than 100kb have trouble uploading, as does anything bigger than 800 x 600. If the image is a JPEG (Or JPG) format, try changing it to GIF, the quality wont be as good but the size will decrease... either that or just shrink the image.- European Market...champion!
Talk about home grown veg... i've got mine in there now!- European Market...champion!
The European market that came to Bedlington brought the following things: Bread / Pastry Sausages Sweets Olives Hand bags (Plastic ones). I heard an old woman shout "Eeeeee! Yi need a cheque book to buy from here". It wasn't a French market it was a European market by the way... When i went to France there were loads of markets on, the fruit was twice the size and a quarter of the price. Pete, we don't have a farmers market in Bedlington...- European Market...champion!
Hahaha, i never thought of it that way... well, if theres people willing to pay - i think i might try it myself.- European Market...champion!
MSN Conversation with sister: ME says: you missed the european market at top end on thursday by the way SIS says: did i miss much? ME says: Aye, 6 stalls... 2 of which were local. Bread at £4 a loaf and sausages at £7 each. SIS says: hahahaha - Ebay Anyone?
