  1. That thought did cross my mind!
  2. I couldn't give a flying !*!@# over a piece of !*!@# on the ground, but when every other tree is decorated in the stuff then its beyond the joke. If they left it on the ground in the first place at least it would be gone after a good rainy day. As for this myth of wardens - the only people I see down there are rough looking kids drinking cider and smoking fags. Maybe it's them who go scrounging through !*!@# bins and throwing it into trees because they think its more entertaining than school. And if people did actually care about this run down town we all live in, well then - it wouldn't be a dive in the first place would it.
  3. Cant understand the mentality of it. Best to stay away all together.
  4. "Denzil has returned to take his rightful place as custodian of this forum!" -- Thats threegee's job, not his. ___________________________________________________________________________ Paris is a hell of a lot better than Bedlington. The streets are clean, there's no broken windows, the streets are full of trading shops and the people are also tidy and polite and not a charv in sight. But then, it doesnt take much to beat this dump does it?
  5. Does anyone around here that owns a dog pick its crap up after it? Just wondering, i was down the woods today and couldnt believe the amount of !*!@# swinging from the tree branches in plastic bags. If people cant be arsed to put the bags in the dog !*!@# bins, then leave it on the ground - at least it has a better chance of being washed away then.
  6. So who will win - England or Iran? Havent we already won?
  7. Life all around the world you mean.
  8. Oh my god, i think monsta has posted his first ever sensible post! And Dave, you'll have to upload that video sometime and give us all a laugh.
  9. Well lets face it - £170 for a Nintendo Wii - you cant go wrong! ... or can you?

    News

Well, seen as nothing much happens in Bedlington, i thought we could all use this post to share our oppinions about other things happening in the UK, or the world. I just came across this on the BBC website: Police probe web cam chat death I think its bad enough that the man harmed (and eventually killed) himself on a webcam in front of other people. But dont you think its awful that there are people out there willing to watch?
  11. Facts: 1. Ninjas are mammals. 2. Ninjas fight ALL the time. 3. The purpose of the ninja is to flip out and kill people. Weapons and Gear: Ninja Sword, Ninja Stars and outfit: Ninjas can kill anyone they want! Ninjas cut off heads ALL the time and don't even think twice about it. These guys are so crazy and awesome that they flip out ALL the time. I heard that there was this ninja who was eating at a diner. And when some dude dropped a spoon the ninja killed the whole town. My friend Mark said that he saw a ninja totally uppercut some kid just because the kid opened a window Looks like someone dressed up as a blue !*!@# .
  12. I listen to anything - as long as its got nothing to do with Galaxy.
  13. Game are doing deals where you can trade in your other consoles or games (or both) and get money discounted off the PS3. Some of their prices were quite good - like this game i bought from Granger Games (Shadow of the Colossus) for £15 about 8 month ago - they will give me £15 back for it. Might be worth a look if anyone here is thinking of getting rid of games or whatever.
  14. Ninja costumes? Kids should be allowed to dress up in any costume they like - providing its not 'offensive', like a kid dressed up as Hitler for instance. Anyway, whats wrong with ninjas - their fantastic!
  15. Havent you tried those patches and gum? I've never smoked myself, but they've worked for others!
  16. Do you have to sign up to that free online survey in order to submit it?
  17. Father Damo - the rebel priest! AKA Joe Rooney
  18. Father Ted is excellent.

    Is It New?

Its just the end of the wall that they didnt take down... why they left the end pillar up though i cant say.
  20. By now everyone with an interest in science or computers has stared in wonder at pictorial representations of the amazing fractal called the Mandelbrot set. If you are one of the few remaining holdouts, then do yourself a favor and explore the full color illustrations of this infinite mathematical labyrinth (one readily available source is James Gleick's popular book Chaos). These images, depicting seemingly endless layers of complexity and geometric inventiveness, strike deep intellectual and emotional chords. A large part of the magic is due to the fact that as you plunge deeper into the Mandelbrot set you encounter ever-more-tiny copies of itself within the riot of detail. This "worlds within worlds" aspect, or self-similarity, calls to mind the famous poem of William Blake: "To see a World in a Grain of Sand... And a Heaven in a Wild Flower Hold Infinity in the Palm of your hand And Eternity in an hour."
  21. The british PS3 wont be any different than the rest - theres always rumors flying around the internet, personally i dont pay attention to any of them. Most All of the "Sony PS3 this and PS3 that" rumors have already turned out to be false - so we'll wait and see. Already the PS3 games titles is building - but i havent seen any yet that have made me want to buy the console at its full price! (Most of them i've already seen on Xbox 360) I will buy one eventually - probably this christmas when they are a bit cheaper.

    Books

I like to read books, mostly the ones i'm reading now are factual i.e. Javascript / PHP books. The last fiction book i read was one of the Dark Tower books by Stephen King, and i liked the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown too. I'm not fussed what i read really, as long as its good.
