The sleepy town of Bedlington has been rocked this bank holiday weekend as all the 'Weekend Dads' of the town all congregated on the towns 'black bridge' and pretended to be lemmings.

one father of 4 was asked at the scene what was going on to which he replied 'pencil neck was right, we are worthless!'

exactly what had happened is still unclear, although police are investigating a poem that was apparently posted on a local website forum.

altogether it is estimated that 250 men have jumped off the bridge, 190 of them stuck in the sleck waiting on the tide coming in, whilst the other 60 did their best to impersonate jam on the roadway as busses and cars drove over them.
