Hi Eggy, I did see those pics with names added. I couldn't name any more of them. Does anyone know what became of Melvyn Jameison?

Melvyn's nickname was 'Doc'.  No idea where he is now ... perhaps I'll spend a couple of hours this weekend looking for him online.

Mr Routledge was a teacher at the old Whitley school,when I was there from around 1951-ish....to 1956,when I started Westridge School.

I never knew his First name.

He was a smashing natured teacher,always up for a laugh with thi kids,as was his co-partner Mr Bebbington.

Anybody else remember him.?

Hi Canny Lass,a think he took maths,and probably other subjects as weel,cos most teachers did in them days.

Matty Hall taught a few subjects,as did Mr Davidson.Smashing teachers they were..great with thi kids!

Mr Davidson was always telling us tales from his Army days in Egypt and other places like being in the Alps in thi winter etc.....!
