Pencil_Neck Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 Watching the poor father of the murdered WPC on the news, it stuck me that we need to arm our bobbies with hand guns, shot guns, AK-47s, land to air missiles, howisters, WMDs, etc to handle the scum merchants out there. Hang the bar stewards I say. Hang 'em high
Denzel Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 Yep, about time the Old Bill carried guns, too many radgies on the loose these days.
Pencil_Neck Posted November 21, 2005 Author Report Posted November 21, 2005 [Of course only male coppers should carry weapons, periods make it too risky to allowthe skirt element of the profession to carry arms.
Denzel Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 An observation which is sure to encourage comment from the fairer sex.
Pencil_Neck Posted November 21, 2005 Author Report Posted November 21, 2005 Quite, I've just been hit over the napper with a frying pan See what I mean........
Denzel Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 Aye, vicious buggers the lot of them.
Pencil_Neck Posted November 21, 2005 Author Report Posted November 21, 2005 Fine wine & chocs ordered......she's happyHow predictable
Denzel Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 Well what do you say to a woman with 2 black eyes?Nothing, you've told her twice already.
Pencil_Neck Posted November 21, 2005 Author Report Posted November 21, 2005 Food is being lovelying prepared by Mrs PN eg frying pan put to its correct use.
Hamburger Pimp Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 Yes, tooling up the coppers is obviously the way forward. I can't think of a single recent example where an innocent person has been shot repeatedly through the head by gung-ho bizzies who then lied about it afterwards. Well, except for that Brazilian lad. This at the hands of trained specialist firearms officers. I wouldn't trust the majority of numpties that make up our brave bobbies with anything more than the big stick they carry now.
Pencil_Neck Posted November 21, 2005 Author Report Posted November 21, 2005 Food top draw. Extras readied. They'll love it up 'em
Denzel Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 I do hope that you are not referring to the fine body of men (and women) without whom you would be unemployed?
Denzel Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 Sorry Pencil, I was referring to CK's rather negative opinion of our boys in blue.
Pencil_Neck Posted November 21, 2005 Author Report Posted November 21, 2005 Thank you sir.I agree with Mr CK, there's some fish-heeds wearing the blue uniform. However, the chap from Brazil was not legal, so why worry. I mean it's notlike he's a WMD expert........cover up. You make me sick
Pencil_Neck Posted November 22, 2005 Author Report Posted November 22, 2005 Not really. Official version eg "Sir, please stop". Chap runs off with a bag; officersopen fire to bring down a possible murderer. No problem, thank you.All figures count.......
Mr Darn Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 getting this topic back onto a more serious note, heres my view on the subject:should police be armed? damn right!, but only in the correct curcumstances...i dont see a reason why 50% of our officers (the cream of the crop) should be trained with and carry firearms in their vehicles, however, do they really need to carry them?in my opinion the vast majority of police call outs do not require armed responce, but sending two unarmed wpc's to a silent alarm on a travel agents who deal with thousands of pounds of currency is in my view ludacrus.(or however its spelled). if ever a situation called for armed officers in attendance it was that one, as with all banks, cash and carrys, racecourses and any where else someone would go to steal high value items.however a 16 year old lad pinching sweets from the corner shop does not warrent an armed responce.i think the police need to use their grey matter and decide on a priority system for call-outs, and have firearms in all police vehicles just in case the need arrises for the officers to defend themselves and my sweets from those thieving lot who try to lift them.but since when did my opinion count?
BedlingtonLass Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 but since when did my opinion count?Generally hun it doesnt lol
Denzel Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 Personally I think anyone caught doing a crime (with the exception of speeding) should be shot, no questions asked.
Pete Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 Personally I think anyone caught doing a crime (with the exception of speeding) should be shot, no questions asked.Does that include the Tax man?Pete
