why is it that every time you go into the big super stores they have music blasting your ears to bits are they trying to impress you or are they trying to stop you from going in ? i myself absolutly hate shopping and music together

I absolutely hate shopping but I am insistently dragged anyway. I don't mind the music as it makes it more bearable.

I would prefer a choice of music as not only would I enjoy it more, it would more than likely clear the queues quite quickly.

The worst one I ever heard in a supermarket was in Sommerfields at Bedlington. It was a girl band's cover version of Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb. They had to restrain me from ripping the speakers off the wall.

It's the new "thing" for adverts isn't it. Getting a lass to cover a classic and pitch it right down so it is running at half the speed over some jazzy CGI graphics.

Liked Mazzy Starr - Into Dust however.

I preferred fade Into You - I thought that was cool.

Hurt I am guessing then, I can't see Youtube links etc at work.

I get wrong for putting it on as it's too depressing.
