I have never lived in Bedlington, however my mother was born nearby in Scotland Gate, Forster's Buildings. The family lived in Bedlington for many years. I am researching her past, and would especially like to know what Forster's Buildings were as I have searched the internet in vain.

If anyone can help that would be good!

Also I am on the lookout for relatives by the name of Storey with whom I have never had any contact so am about to start looking! More on that later

As Keith says a bit more info as there are at least 200 Storey listed (www.192.com) in and around Bedlington.

Welcome Ex. Try History Hollow. I think I've seen Forsters Buildings mentioned there. Maybe in one of the threads for Choppington. I'll have a look and see if I can find it.

I'm not hopeful about the Storeys in Bedlington, as my grandfather in the 1911 census was in Jarrow. Sorry, should have said that, however will look i History Hollow for Forster's buildings.
