My first attempt at making sloe gin was a complete success hic(**^%$% !!. I bottled it last night  and had to give it a try , give it a try , give it a try ,give it a try , give it a try........ hic %^$£ zzzzzzzzz. 

 

Elderberry wine (made entirely from elders in my garden) is festering away very nicely and we will see how that has turned out next summer,

So we can all expect a bottle of sloe gin wine for our Chirstmas prezzies this year!!!!!!!!

I had a fly taste of it the other week Eileen when I tested it with a hydrometer , got to say it tasted pretty good . Its still in the demi johns but I might just bottle it this week and leave it till after Easter at least .

I used to make a lot of wine and the Rice Wine seemed drinkable very quickly.

A flat with under floor heating helped.
