Adam Hogg Posted March 13, 2014 Report Posted March 13, 2014 Was reading todays news post leader and found that UK coal are planning on opencasting the site.Public information exhibitions are being held on Tuesday 18th March and Wednesday 19th March 2013 at The Dales School, Cowpen Road, Bebside, NE24 4RE, between 4pm and 8pm. Adam Hogg Posted March 14, 2014 Author Report Posted March 14, 2014 Yes the farmer, I'm suprised they are opencasting the site as it is very small, Shame it is not the other side of the road we could have had a cycle track and bridge put in as part of the restoration with no cost to the tax payer.
