August 29, 201411 yr First came across this site last year when I was looking for some old photos of Sheepwash. John Dawson was very helpful in pointing me here. I am in a local song writing project called The Sawdust Jacks and have over 20 of our demo videos on You Tube. My mother's family, going back to my great Grandparents, came from Sheepwash. I have lived in Bedlington since 1977. My Father in law, Wilf White was a winding engineer at the Doctor Pit. My favourite seat is on top of the old Doctor Pit heap and the views from there of Simonside and the Cheviots.

August 30, 201411 yr Welcome along Ujay.Had a listen to Pancake Row, about my old neck of the woods Guide Post and my old watering hole the Shakespeare. I never heard of that story! Must get a chance to listen to your other stuff.
