Neighbour looking to relocate - maybe to Bedlington?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I found this forum a few months ago and thought now would be a good time to join up and maybe bounce some ideas around.

My family moved to Cramlington many years ago, I went to school there before moving around the UK working at several different jobs & places over the years.

If I'm working nearby I normally use Cramlington as a base, if I'm working away I make a point of visiting home at least a couple of times a month to catch up with friends & family.

Due to a change in family circumstances (and selling my house late last year), I have been thinking about where I would like to live in the future and looking at a few different places around Northumberland, including Bedlington.

I've got lots of options to look at, but expect me to share a few thoughts and questions as I think of things.

Cheers.

Pete

Look no further! Bedlington, like any other Place, has it's problem areas but all in all it's a great Place and, as you'll learn on this site, it even has some great people!

Welcome on board.

Bedlington is a great place to live.

However you must accept we are a little biased.

Check out the history and all other considerations by reading contributions on the Forum..

Good Luck with your decision Scorpio.

It all depends what facilities you want aswell, as bedlington seems to be losing out. I mean people are friendly thats a massive point.

Anyone who tells you that they aren't is lying Maggie!  And, it's good to be biased in a positive way - towards your own family, town, region, or country.  The question is do our individual biases cancel, and can we agree to differ in a civilised and respectful manner.  Looks like there are an increasing number of communities in our land that can't.

Subjective viewpoints threegee, we must agree on that one.

Friendly is the word.
