October 10, 20169 yr Author Thank you CL, yes it's here to stay, we had our first snowfall in town October 1st, but the ground wasn't frozen then, it is now and it has been snowing three days and it's starting to accumulate, supposed to warm up this week!
October 10, 20169 yr Hi Vic, not sure what thanksgiving is, is it a Canadian holiday? but Happy Thanksgiving anyway, looking at the photo it looks cold. Time to get the central heating switched on.
October 10, 20169 yr Author Thank you Pete, Thanksgiving is the U.S. and Canadian equivalent of Harvest Festival,( I think!) The end of the general harvesting for most farmers. Usually celebrated with a turkey dinner and family. Heating is turned on, winter tyres on the vehicles, snow shovels at the ready, snowblower all primed!
October 10, 20169 yr Are you feeding up the Turkeys Vic? Weighing them whilst feeding to see when they are ready to harvest!
October 10, 20169 yr Author Clock and Thermometer Eggy, the crows and ravens are as big as turkeys, bigger than the chickens we used to keep at home!
