Canny lass Supporting Members March 23, 20215 yr Author stats That's a really informative extract. Thanks Eggy! First paragraph confirms that the Old Colliery Row at the east end of Bedlington was 'controlled' by the Doctor Pit. It doesn't specifically say that it was owned by them so maybe it was hired by them for workers in much the same way as the Old Iron Works.
