  2. Yes, Pop Coulson I believe, there was also a guy called Ronie Barns who had a mobile shop it was an old bus, mind you that was fifties, sixties.

And eighties I believe! Lemonade in glass bottles. Sigh. When stepping in doggies 'ah ah' was the most I had to worry about!

  3. didnt he shot them 1 by 1??why didnt the ones that got shot last try and do sumik about it before he reached them??they might of been shot or injured in the process but im sure a group of them could of stopped him! That part makes me mad! god rest there souls.

There was a student on the news who said we were all hit or too scared out of our minds tos top him. Another nut job on GMTV this morning saying that this is the reason schools should not be gun-free zones (as they are now) because the teacher or another student would have also had a gun to shoot him down. Isn't amazing what culture can do to warp people's common sense.

  4. One of the Fathers of a child shot in Columbine was on GMTV this morning saying how he doesn't want the gun laws changed. It shows how brain-washed they are.

Can see what you mean about them going underground though... it's a quandry.

It's only a matter of time before our copycat society starts doing the same thing, that's what worries me.

  5. Mr hair tried some pork bun things that looked like sponge and these things that the lady said 'have these I don't know what they are.'

I am not dissing the fact that Chinese people eat it (it shows how wasteful we are in the Western world,) but merely warning others who may naively happen upon the place on a Sunday lunch-time. The menu outside looked palatable to our tastes (must watch what I say now as pendants corner are in on this) ..inside was a different story.

Anyway CK, gan to see the hoose on Friday?

  6. Just a warning, don't visit the above on a Sunday lunch-time. We opted for the Chinese Dim Sum as that's what all the Chinese people were having and it looked like you got lots of nice 'bits.' However the menu did not have anything I would have touched never mind eaten. Examples: Deep Fried chicken feet, spicy ducks tongues, pig trotter, intestines, jellyfish, crab roe. BLEUGHHH. We ate the prawn crackers and paid for our drinks and left. Went over the road to the lovely Dragon House and had some splendid Lemon chicken and ku-bo chicken. It was an embarrassing disaster, to be avoided if you don't fancy that kind of thing!

  7. Oooohhh Mr Darn how did I know someone would say that!

It's a rubbish supermarket. It's like Marksie's people only go in for their bits. I bought a lettuce today and it's manky, should have gone to the greengrocers.

Don't get me started on Somerfield's meat it's the worst in the locality! Get to Cowell's everyone! Support the small business person!

  8. I went up to the European market and can I just say it was a delight. Bought some lovely FRESH bread some scrummy French cheeses and had a wander around in the sunshine enjoying something different. The only thing that spoilt it was the attitude of our small minded fellow Bedlingtonians. all around me I could hear comments such as 'Whey Greggs is just there why would you want to get a one of them baguettes for that price?' (Answer: because it is proper bread with actual taste) 'Those sweets are too oversized!' (They would be complaining if they were too small or medium or anything.) And when offered free samples some were downright rude, screwing up their faces, no sign of a 'no thank-you.' I think the reason why our town is so backward is because of some of the people in it. We get a nice treat and people use it for a winge. As for the prices...yes I nearly fainted when I was told how much my wedge of raclette was (£6) but I'm sure it will be worth it when I'm melting it and reliving memories of holidays in France. In conclusion I have never seen the Front Street as busy for ages.

PS I saw a one of their stall holders supporting our local businesses, he bought a can of red bull and a tin of deodorant from Somerfield.

  9. No but I'm going to go and have a look. Mr Hair was just saying the other day what Bedlington needs is to move it's market day to a Saturday morning and make it a farmers market.

    Might get some nice cheese!
