I often watch films on the British Film Institute (BFI) site, some you pay for but many are free,
I noticed today that a map has been added to the site and you can select an area and view films from that area for free. (at the moment)
Well worth a look, here is a link to a couple I enjoyed, many more to chose from

And what about this poster from Operation Black Vote, showing an elderly Asian woman and a tattooed white thug facing each other on a see-saw.
The poster by Saatchi and Saatchi is to be shown on billboards in London and Manchester in the run-up to the poll.
Can you imagine the outcry if it showed an elderly white woman and a threatening black or Asian man

And still no discussion of the bloody great elephant in the room ...
TTIP!
Yes its like people in power were controlling the media and what stories they are allowed to run, in order to keep citizens uninformed,
I wonder what the Biased Broadcasting Company had to agree to in order to stop Dave reforming them
If the stay campaign win this referendum may well be the last one allowed EVER

I had never heard of Ann Coulter but I was glued to this interview with her on radio 4 the other day, she was more than a match for one of the BBC best interviewers .
She was one of the first people to back Trump's campaign and she is passionate about the Country she lives in. its a shame the UK has no one like to her.
The interview is not long but is well worth a listen to.

The thing which is conspicuous by its absence is the much vaunted Sovereignty Bill. Another of Duplicitous Dave's shoot-from-the-hip promises ditched at the first hurdle.
Dave's driver-less car only makes U turns and seems to often get stuck in reverse gear.

I was surprised they were allowed to pull those shops down .
No shutters allowed but its ok to pull the building down

Space ports and Driver-less cars??!!
we cant even build a third runway at Heathrow
What have these folk been smoking.

He's not called Dodgy Dave by accident. He's earned it.
Vote out and kiss him goodbye

Ed Balls and Vince Cable? Osborne must be desperate!
Their ideas and policies have been rejected by the majority of the population.
Yet, there they stand failed politicians backing the gravy train for failed politicians
.
And guess who has been showing adverts for the out campaign on its overseas website

Ads ran in error of course

I know others think it was the old hall.
Bedlington Old Hall, or tower, was built in the C16 or C17 and stood three storeys high. It was demolished in 1959 and the site occupied by council offices.

And Possibly Maggies Bishops Palace
From Northumberland,gov.uk
From at least the 12th
century, there was a
substantial hall at Bedlington for the Bishop and
his retinue. There was also a court building as
assizes were held in the town. The settlement
developed around the predecessor of Front
Street with the church and Bishop’s hall adjacent
and long, narrow properties running back at
right angles from the street line.

In the past it seems the area of the school had been investigated for any historical connection.
They found nothing !
Who paid them to find nothing?

The brexit movie has had little if any TV publicity, but every time anyone from the remain camp has anything to say Sky, ITV, C4 ,and the Biased Broadcasting Corporation all give it headlines news
Every day brings in a new troll from the panic and desperation Pro-EU campaign.
I wonder what they'll dream up for us tomorrow for our daily dose of 'Project Fear' .
No wonder so many politicians are wanting to stay in, a nice little well paid job in Brussels unelected and unsackable must be very tempting
Id rather be poorer and live in a Britain that I used to know, than live in this liberal multicultural left wing hell hole that we have become......

To apply to build within an area designated as both a Local Wildlife Site and a Local Nature Reserve, particularly 'executive' housing which is out of the reach of the vast majority of Bedlington residents, is insulting and offensive to our community.
So would you be happier If the plans were for cheap starter homes?
Its sad that when people work hard and are successful in life and make a good living that some folk think its offensive and insulting,
Good luck to those who work hard and do well, they certainly do not insult or offend me so why bash them.

It makes one wonder why some politicians are so keen to stay in the EU

I think there has been a bit of confusion on the Martins Bank website. If you look at the page for Bedlington STATION Martins Bank then that too says 'Takeaway' at the bottom.
http://www.martinsbank.co.uk/11-50-00%20Bedlington%20Station.htm
Your right webtrekker
Also when it was Barclays it was not on palace road it was somewhere between Matty Robinsons and Keenleysides I think now pulled down
I think the bank in your photo on palace road is possibly now somthing like hot mlillions or the likes ( I think they are the single storey buildings between the Clayton and the old domino

I came across this link that also brought back a few memories for me

Although reading the end of the page it says it is now a takeaway I don't think it ever has been

Queue is not a word Americans normally use, stand in line is more often used. Has Mr Obamas UK speech been written by Downing street flunkies or was it just rehashed from one of Mr Camerons fear tactic rants during the Scottish vote.,
Sickening to watch Cameron standing next Obama and smirking as he threatens us

Being dominated by two parties has left us with a malfunctioning democracy and widespread public disillusionment.in politics and politicians, I think we are crying out for a new political party in the UK, not one made up of luvies or tree hungers but one of people who live in the real world and who would put the UK and its people first.
I suppose I will have to keep on dreaming .
