  1. Oh..anyway,before i forget,i was shopping at Asda last week and i seen a tranny,it was the big hands and deep voice that gave it away.Just thought i`d share that with everyone :D

We had one in the club last week looked like a truck driver in dress

  2. Hello everybody, hope u all ok, just came on to say hi. been reading the posts to do with the tavern, it all went down hill when i left. I was in at weekend and had one quick drink but dont bother really anymore. Personally I think that the bar staff are canny lads but need to learn how to smile

Hi Bar Lass Nice to here from u again

  3. bet the fishing is good though! not like here! north sea should be called the dead sea 2!

The fishing is good, especially reef fishing, reef fish are good to eat, Last year my cousin from Bedlington visited us we went out on charter boat for the day and caught enough fish for many meals but he caught the catch of the day with a 30 kilo barracuda

  4. ah its the weekend again I love Fridays I go to the pub with the boys and have few beers to help me wind down , on Saturdays i usually do the lawns and a bit of maintenance round the house followed by sport on sky in the afternoon and out to the pub again for a few cleansing ales. Sunday consists of rest and recovery in the morning and a barbie with the family in the afternoon What does your weekend usually consist of ?

  5. So what design are you building Brian?

We are building a square outside entertainment area with walls long two sides and the wood fired oven at the junction of the walls

the design of the oven is typically Greek the dome sits on bricks about three foot high but we are about two hundred bricks short of finishing it, Monsta gave me an idea i might check out the old power station sight for bricks.....

when it is finished i will post some photo's

  6. Are there no skips around yours in aussie like?

I have been scabbing bricks from building sites and tip skips for the last two weeks we are two hundred bricks short at the moment the hardest ones to find were fire bricks

  7. just do what them africans do make it out of mud!

anyway i thought you lot done those under the ground fire pit things? or is that the new zealanders?

No Munny its not us "lot" its the Kiwis actually the Maoris and they call the ground fire pit thing a hungi or a hangi

  8. Better check the local bye-laws Brian, don't want the cooncil an' fire brigade giving you a hard time

I have checked out all the local by laws and any fire restrictions and the oven complies so there is no problems I have this guy helping me build it he has built about 20 ovens so far but we have run out of second hand bricks the recycling place should have some next week

  9. I am building a wood fired oven in my back yard once it is completed you are all invited for a traditional Aussie bar b que if you are in the neighborhood, does any one out there have any experience with one of these and can you give me any tips about the construction of it ..................
