When I visited Bedlington last year there was talk of a face lift for Bedlington Rail Station, I know the re build has been proposed for a few years but will it be a realty one day? I believe a passenger service was envisioned with a link to Newcastle.

Hello I am returning to Bedlington for a few weeks do any of you guys and girls get to-gether for a few bevies anywhere if you do tell me where and i might catch up with you all..........BC

It is apparent we have a lot of negativity coming from some of our most respective contributors to this site, simply reading some of the posts made me feel like saying well " no point to it " and then Joe made his contribution and it made sense c'mon lets have a go at getting the woods cleaned up,if some of the kids get involved they then may start to appreciate what is staring them in the face...................BC

When i last visited Bedlngton I went down to the woods to revisit where I played when I was a kid,I must say I was surprised by the amount of junk that was in the once clean river Blyth, here they have a clean-up day once a year,a number of people go out and tidy up the beaches and all around the local area,do we have a tidy up day for Bedlington and especially the once lovely woods,if we do give me the date and it will give me an excuse to return to lend a hand ( and have a few pints with my rellies ) ...............BC

Just thought i would like to share with you all i lost a good mate this week,a bloke i have known for a long time, a person who served his country for 28 years in the army he believed in our way of life and he fought for it he served in Vietnam and visited many countries including the UK he had a Harley and knew how to party,sorry for being a softy but i thought you needed to know.................BC
