  3. These pictures were on here previously for our members to enjoy but were removed when someone was "stealing" them for financial gain. Lets try again!!
  4. Lavery's let nearly four years pass by doing absolutely nothing for Bedlington. Other than fighting for grants and investment into Ashington and of course lets not forget the new stand at his football club that is being supported by Arch the development company (Northumberland County Council). His only other activity that springs to mind is his personal battle for Justice for an Industrial Dispute that he was involved in thirty years ago. Many of his constituents in this town are too young to remember that dispute but lets hope they remember the last four years when election time comes around. The sad part is our County Councillors think the Sun shines out of his backside, Bedlington is a long way down on his list of priorities, He's only making noises now because elections are on the horizon however other than his clique over here, I cannot think of anyone in the Town that would have reason to vote for him.
  5. The Union always flooded the mess rooms in our workplace with Posters "advising" us which way to vote............wasn't always the "right decision"
  6. No pictures of the Go Go but the Juncos are still going, he was probably wearing that coat when you last saw them,.. this is them at the Journal Tyne Theatre December last year.

  14. Can you ID this one Vic? (the plane I mean) and maybe guess at the year. An old mate now deceased gave me the negative and asked if I could print a copy. It was thought a member of his family was in the picture but he never saw the print to confirm.

  20. HPW the record shop you mention was called "Olivers" It was next door to Mains Motorcycles which is now Als Video.

The Labour MP who represents Ashington did a fleeting visit a couple of weeks back, after more than three years of absence he's shown up on our doorstep claiming he wants to help the people rid the town of an eyesore that has Blighted the conservation area for many years.
