I know you can jump on a bus get to the town and see any amount of bands , i was just trying to think of a way to jump start the street. They stick bands on regularly round blyth and its out skirts why not in Bedlington?? A battle of the bands maybe or a showcase of bands anything!! Seems to me some bars down the street are using achohol as their only enticement.The Sun, i've heard offers a bit more.But i think a little more wouldn't go amiss. Maybe its me , I think ROCK is the answer for everything. So everyone get down the guitar shop and i'll see u on stage soon.

well you know its hard... when you get recognised all the time but u know how it is....you keep getting chased out of supermarkets, Ive got you on video rocking out in the sun b4 you got kicked out for indecent exposure haha!!! . I reckon the pubs up the street should get more live rock bands on . Theres nowt like a live act .The Bull sometimes puts them on. I reckon its much better than So Called DJs that play clobbed together pap.I used to play the Sun when Birchy had it with Relic and it was always packed!! The bars up the street need a rocket up their collective arses or its only gonna get worse, and after all Bedlington used to be famous for its night life, sinces thats waning, folks are ganna catch the first bus out of here.....Plus i need a venue for a reunion, what say you? I visit home whenever i can and try to get back every christmas/new year .And i cannot believe the lions closed, and the Sun's turned into a knocking shop. i went up the street a couple of weeks ago on a saturday night and the place was dead . i thought it might be because the biggest bars closed (the lion). Does anyone know if theres any plans for it .

the're are still good metal bands out there in the depths , iced earth have got the singer that replaced rob halford in preist for a time , so im waiting to see what that sounds like , also the old geezers maiden preist motorhead are still going , and alot of new true metal comes from europe these days ( the continent not the band , but the're still going too) bands like hammerfall , arch enemy and so on , then theres all the helloween reissues, if you like maiden the're staight out of 1987 TOP vintage METAL year that one. i suggest ignoring the rubbish thats coming out of the U.S . Metal needs time to grow, unfortunately everyones after the fast buck with hip metal , which usually sounds !*!@# after 2 listens
