Bedlington Terriers are delighted to announce that they have signed ex-Jamaican International forward Trevor Benjamin. Trevor has many former clubs, and they include: Cambridge United, Leicester City, Northampton Town, Coventry City, Peterborough United, Hereford United, Gainsborough Trinity and Kidsgrove Athletic. Whilst representing Jamaica at full international level (debut in 2002), he also played for Englands Under 21 side in 2001. Most recently Trevor was with Woking Town but since relocating to the region, Bedlington have been first to the post to get his prestigious signature. He will obviously be a great player to have at the club and his experience will prove invaluable.

  11. I would assume with the still relatively new SE Northumberland Police Command HQ just across the road, it wouldn't make much sense in closing the law courts?
  12. Totally agree - top scran and always have such a laugh with Laza and Joe when I'm there!
  13. Todays FA Vase match at Welfare Park between Bedlington Terriers and Spennymoor will go ahead, despite the heavy rain. Kick off is at 3pm!
  14. Panda Inn is tremendous, we'll be there tomorrow night.
  15. Absolutely, give it a go. And inform the local police or community support officer of your plan so they can keep up to date on problems they might otherwise not be aware of.

Bedlington Terriers FC face their biggest game of the season (so far hopefully) when they entertain high flying Spennymoor Town in the FA Vase on Saturday 14th November. With the FA Vase being the Holy Grail for the club, a visit to Wembley would give the Terriers a massive opportunity to avenge their 1999 defeat at Wembley in the final, but there are many hurdles between then and now. The game on Saturday could not be tougher, with big spending Spennymoor coming to town backed by a large travelling contingent. The outfit from County Durham will be hell bent on revenge following Bedlington's 2-1 league victory at Welfare Park in October. With the increased interest in this week's game and the resultant traffic, the club will be working with Northumbria Police to provide extra signage asking all supporters to park in the car park behind Tescos. So get behind your local team as they chase the dream of a Wembley appearance. With a bit of luck and plenty of support, the glory days could be on their way back"¦..starting Saturday!
  17. Come on then, own up! Who was it that sent about 10 chinese lanterns up on Wednesday night around 8.30-9.00pm? Seemed to be coming from the Ridge Farm to Nedderton area, if not further away (Hartford Bridge). They looked great from where we were standing at the Terriers football ground!
  18. Just changed my Honda Civic for a BMW 320d, what a difference! Loved the Civics styling but its the worst built car I've ever owned.
  19. Sent our dog there a few months back and came back a different dog! What a difference there was and the job they had done was outstanding. For only £25, the amount of pampering he got was unreal. Definitely will be sending him back again soon!
  20. Phil Dunn fitted a new condensing boiler and the service was outstanding, talked through the whole job and didnt stop working for 3 days until it was done. Outstanding quality and service! PM me if you want his mobile number.
  21. Rook Matthews are the best by far. Put ours up originally with Mike Rogerson at Blyth but they were useless, Rook Mattews were way better. The problem with going with Moons, is that they are too small and wont get you the people through the door to view yours. RMS always promised at least one phone call per month with feedback and were 100% professional.
  22. Where are the nearest organised firework displays this week?
  23. Ha ha, unfortunately not, but everyone there had a brilliant night. Country music isn't my cup of tea at all, but Travis was outstanding and its no surprise hes the top UK act. He'll be coming back next year so watch this space for news!
  24. I noticed that when I did it and went back to edit it, looks like it didnt save the edit. doh!
  25. Just a reminder that Travis Logan, just voted the top UK Country act, is appearing at Bedlington Terriers FC clubhouse tonight (23/10) starting at 8pm. Tickets can be purchased on the night for £5 and the price includes snacks. Come along, have a great night with the added benefit of some of the cheapest beer in Bedlington - Guinness £2.5.0 a pint?? Can't go wrong! http://www.travislogan.co.uk/
