If you call having FRIENDS who are muslims and have worked in an asian community (westend of Newcastle)who echo my views then I,m guilty as charged my friend these "activists" are in a minority and should be dealt with accordingly however we are far to politicaly correct and your right it is to late I think the politcal terminology for their cockup 30 years ago is that we are a "MULTICULTURAL SOCIETY" however I remember similar views of the West Indians / Jamaicans in the 60s

Well its quite simple ........... ask them where they consider HOME to be ? and if its in another country send them there... Dont get me wrong I,m not racist in fact I have no problems with other nationalities coming here what ever religion creed or colour as long as there are WORKING and not sponging of us or using ALLAH gives us these benefits as an excuse for being bone idle lazy.... and its about time someone in the houses of parliment stood and said so..

Well I think they have put them there to stop folks splitting there heads open as they fall on the metal spikes sticking out of the brickwork to stop the kids skateboarding and what was the point of hiring a iceskating rink it was like an ice rink itself because of the lack of salt.....

RACE through the black bridge on the two planks of wood that run the length of the bridge and jumping through the oval shaped holes that intersect the bridge at regular intervals bearing in mind that its a bloody long way down if you misjudge your steps...... what a track that was .... OH and we had a swing that we hung from a tree on the way down to Humford Baths it must have been a 50 foot drop (nowt compared to the bridge lol) and see how many you can get to swing at once.... well thats two things to do that I recall. Its apperently to high........ mind you the roof structure has been since at least the begining of JUNE oh and now apparently they don,t like the cladding used on the building again it would have been on the initial plans............. they are hoping to use it as a community hall and the rooms can be let out to variouse hobby groups keep fit ,yoga etc etc....... dont recall seeing weirdos on the list of the folks they hope to attract................. however simple things and all that spring to mind

It seems that the new building they are constructing AND nearly finished has had a proabition order put on it to bring the extension to a halt..... apparently there have been some complaints about the "style" and the sort of people they are hoping to attract to use the new facilities. Now can someone please explain to me why it,s taken our wonderful council employees WE are paying to do a specific job,s including building control etc so bloody long to suddenly decided that there is apparently a problem.

Who are you representing - the People of Bedlington or your own career interests? That speaks for its self wait and see how many come knocking on your doors now, in particular the ones who got voted in and lets not forget "local jobs for local people" my a!@*

Hows about this then!!! The person who is all of a sudden knocking on doors to remain the ward councilor boasts "LOCAL JOBS FOR LOCAL PEOPLE" then you look at his printed leaflet and his "local" office is in bloody BLYTH and wait for it the "local" printer he uses is 20 bloody miles away now unless I,m mistaken and please feel free to correct me but exactly where does our LOCAL Bedlington boundary encompass?? does it include South Tyneside and with regards to his office being in Blyth is it forward planning for the eventual takeover from that lot............. I think not

Wonder what odd,s you,ll get on them taking over the old garage over the road ?

I think the topic title should read "Are the opposition councilors HOPELESS "

Yes these are the same councilors who slagged off " Maggie " about allowing people the opportunity to buy there council houses and now these same councilors are selling the remaining to a housing trust!!!! talk about double standards, but they will have a valid reason I,m sure lol erm could it be jobs for the boys (and girls) watch this space

What is there to wreck? The front streets a disgrace the amenities are virtualy non exsistant and what do we get for our council tax erm street lighting and me bins get emptied but only if the lids closed and its outside on the pavement oh and I must admit I do see the lads doing their best to keep the streets clean picking up litter etc oh yes and we pay the councilors too ( I knew there was value for money somewhere )
