Found your site whilst searching for local history on the internet and was impressed by what I found. I lived in Bedlington for only two years, Seaton Avenue but have spent the rest of my time in the Choppington area.

I can tell you exactly wher Seaton Ave is, as I was born and lived opposite in Alfred Ave.I can remember that what people refer to as "Pop Cloustons" shop when it was Billy Litles shop, also behind Seaton Ave, next to where the entrance to the allotments used to be was another shop belonging to Mrs Fraser
