Perhaps we could arrange roundal targets to be strategically positioned upon Northumberlandia's voluptuous form as aiming points.

Pictures on the targets could help secure concentration

Maybe of interest if you cannot get to visit the new lady in our midst.

I think this summer and after we are going to find rather a lot of visitors in the area.

We may even have to complain about Bloody Tourists.

Still an absence of comfort stops! - but I suppose that it's still early days.

The Morpeth Herald today tells us that Northumberlandia is now going forward for a National Award against schemes in Weymouth, Birmingham, Snowdonia, and Singapore!

The winner is to be announced in July.

Lets hope our very own lady wins.

The landform has won two awards from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations annual North East Pride Awards.

Some exiles returned and visited our Earth Goddess.

They had expected to be underwhelmed but walked, took in the views and the position and became impressed.

Maybe I influenced them, slightly.

Northumberlandia now has been named Miss World after winning a global competition.

It has won the Best Landscape Architecture category in the 2013 International Property awards.

Was on top of The Lady yesterday - ooh no missus, titter ye not - incredible views and I was amazed at the extent of the opencast works behind it. But I still can't make sense out of it's layout - baffles me, that. But I was more impressed by the wildlife - damsel flies (tons) butterflies (even more) and a lovely cheese & tomato toastie at the cafe.

Did you rest that toastie on your case ma lord? 

I've been meaning to get up there and get some shots of the sunset as it sets nicely over the top of Plessey late on.

Keith, the opencast is certainly one bloody big hole! It's lovely up there, great views.

I am so pleased everyone is enjoying our tourist attraction.

Sorry, I meant to get back to this one. I still don't like Northumberlandia as a tourist attraction. I just cannot see the point in the design. There is too much up and down and going around. They might as well have built a rollercoaster on the site. But the views are impressive and the insect life is flourishing.

It looks fantastic from the air as you fly into Newcastle Airport. Previously I've Always kept a look out for St. Mary's lighthouse, Whitley Bay but this is way better.
