Surely the blame must lie with the person or people who picked Sam Allardyce for the job, I'm quite sure Sam didn't change his style or method when he came to Newcastle, and he isn't new to soccer, he was well known! the last manager was unknown, but was given a chance and unfortunately failed. Management appear to be the incompetent ones at NUFC, I hope they are more successful next time as the Geordie fans deserve success, it's been a long time since their Fairs Cup success. Vic

  16. Bly--!! but my wife was from Bedlington, we married there, and lived there for a few years, Father-in-law worked at Dr Pit. Vic
  17. I remember Tony, he was underground I was an electrician on surface at that time, I new his father after he married a good friend of ours. (dart players!) He was the mine manager until he retired and also lives in B.C. and regularly visits his daughter across the road from us, I believe they were from Ashington. Grande Cache is about 5 hours west of Edmonton (our local city) you would have passed through Jasper which is only about 2 hours south of us but also in the mountains. Yes it has been cold -30c but it's only -5c today. How did you like it over here? Vic

Hi Joe, I have several programs but I find the easiest on is a free download, first I reduce the picture size then when I save it I add an "R" at the end of the original photo name, this makes it easy to find and use the original picture.
