John, funnily enough one of my all time favorite goal keepers played for Sunderland, Jim Montgomory. I am assuming that's Vic Halom in the photo with you, I had to google that to find out who he was, thats my knowledge of the mackems for you. If you watched the Toon match on Sunday you will be aware of the rather bad tackle on Massadio Haidara the Toon player that was stretchered off. The FA are not prepared to take any action about this tackle, A petition has been set up to try and get the FA to do something about this tackle. When will you be back on air John

I was at work when that news broke, we pulled it up on the net (BBC) it was a really shocking thing to watch. I hope we never have to see anything like that again.

I remember getting up in that morning feeling excited because the Toon where playing Liverpool and it was a teliviesed match. Switched the telly on to hear the sad news and also the match was cancelled as mark of respect. Sad day on both counts.
