Keith, if you look at the Clayton arms from a distance the windows look as though they have been designed with a spider web effect, it not until you get close that you realies there broken and its like stepping into a war zone. My opinion anway. -

Malcolm I had a pint of bitter and a meal on Wednesday with an old friend from Bedlington who now lives in Mansfield. Excellent pub, excellent meal and it was a Scotish and Newcastle pub, goes under the brand name, John Barras

March/April Malcolm

Yes Malcolm, was there at the weekend, didn't have much time as I went to a reunion on Friday night and had a lazy day on Saturday, Traveled back early Sunday morning, was home for 9,00am. Still the same old Bedlington but its great to get back. I will be up next year Malcolm so we will have to arange a night to go for a pint or two or three or even more.

Walked past there at the weekend, there appears to be only two shops open.

I have seen the bare tree at the Station next to the toilets, it looks as if its hooked up to the lamp post but did not see any lights.
