  2. if you look in the Gallery next to Robinsons, the printers .look for photo WEST END that is the old top club
  3. it was the jolly anglers not the .jolly fisherman, and the old top club was where watsons newsagent is now
  4. your sister is right . it was George Swans . the shop next to Beadnalls was Kramers the drapers.
  5. Bedlington station A .PIT. opened in 1838 . and closed in 1971.
  6. Stuarts mother worked for Benny Andrews in the grocery shop. before it became Gerrards cycle shop.

  9. The timber viaduct over the Willow Burn held the line to Choppington A and B ;pits Built in 1858 it was pulled down 110 years later.

  20. Jimmy Millne . sold records in his old shop just past the northumberland arms dont know if he sold 45s but he definitely sold 78s .i have loads of 78s from the 1940s .Belonging to my Father in law
