  16. it was the jolly anglers not the .jolly fisherman, and the old top club was where watsons newsagent is now
  17. i left in 1953. and went to Bedlington station Primary school
  18. your sister is right . it was George Swans . the shop next to Beadnalls was Kramers the drapers.
  19. i went to barrington school in 1950
  20. Bedlington station A .PIT. opened in 1838 . and closed in 1971.
  21. Stuarts mother worked for Benny Andrews in the grocery shop. before it became Gerrards cycle shop.
  22. yes you are right we used to have great fun with them
  23. can anybody remember the cardboard milk bottle tops. we used to play a spinning game with them
