A day to remember, sadly not for the Bedlington Christmas Lights. The river Tyne has burst its banks, it seems the Court House has been evacuated.

Verdi's we have always called the 'Na Bother Italian' They do a brilliant line in Bedlington /Italian. Maybe they hail from further afield!

My question would be new central heating systems versus old. The old systems seemed to go on forever the new only last for a max of ten years. Get those old home fires burning.

In Hastings Old Town the name for narrow Pathways between old houses is Twittens. Almost as good as our Dyke Neuk.!

You had it easy! I remember 'getting up half an hour before we went to bed' Oops sorry at Westlea we had it tough with the Euclids driving past the bedroom window. Noise, dust and just the sheer size of them. Try sleeping with that! What an adventure playground! Not to mention the Red House Farm.
