  1. @Andy Millne - has anyone from the East Bedlington Community Centre ever been in touch with you about advertising their events? Stacey Chisholm Price on the Bedlington & Cambois Facebook groups, this week has posted three events taking place at the centre. I copied one of them - Jobs Fair - onto the Events calendar and Chat Central on this site. Might be worth contacting them to see if the East bedlington Community Centre staff wanted to join, and use the facilities of, this group.

  7. Alex - I can do that - I have taken a copy of your email address. There is also a method of 'Downloading' images that have been posted to your Download folder on whatever device you are using to access this group. If you select an image that has been posted it expands and then when you right click (if using mouse) on the expanded image you get the option to 'save image as' or 'copy image'. I will ask Admin, @Andy Millne - @John Fox (foxy) to remove your email address from your comment. It's just a safeguard as it stops 'spammers' getting access to members email addresses. If you want to pass personal info to another member it's best to use the 'Private' Message system = white envelope at the top right hand corner of the blue banner at the top of ever screen. I will message you and the email you.
  8. @Alex Wood - I can't remember seeing any comments on any of the topics on this site from members of the Wood family. There are a couple of photos of the Wood Sons factory and the area around Dene House. Have you found the photos, on this group, or would you like me to post them all for you?
  9. So cash in hand.😉 Don't know anyone on this site that cleans and never seen anyone advertising their services.😞

  11. @Stu hunter - just had a quick Google for Gallagher Park Music festival 2019 and found this :- http://whatsoninthenortheast.co.uk/event/gallagher-park-live-music-festival/90647 Gallagher Park Live Music Festival Bedlington Gallagher Park Bedlington’s fabulous free festival GALLAGHER PARK LIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL is confirmed for Saturday 27th July 2019! Headlined by Matt Cardle last year, the music festival returns to the North East. It’s everything you would expect from a festival including a wide variety of bands and entertainment to entertain all the family along with fantastic local food. Headlining the festival this year are THE SOUTH (featuring members of The Beautiful South), along with teenage idol CHLOE ROSE, JACK & TIM and CBeebies presenter SID SLOANE! THE SOUTH Celebrating their 10th year anniversary and 30 years since The Beautiful South released ‘Song For Whoever’, The South are an impressive 9 piece band who feature former members of The Beautiful South including singer Alison Wheeler and lifelong sax player Gaz Birtles. Since Dave Hemingway, the original singer, left the group at the end of 2016, Gaz has moved across to front the band with Alison and taken on vocal duties. They play the songs made famous by The Beautiful South and bring back the full flavour and arrangements with this exciting live band. After a successful year of touring the theatres and festivals of the UK up and down the country, The South are keeping alive all those timeless songs - A Little Time (the number one single), Perfect 10, Rotterdam, Song For Whoever, Old Red Eyes Is Back, Good as Gold, Don't Marry Her plus many more singles and album tracks as well as a few choice South originals. All performed again live, these songs span an impressive 20 year career starting way back in 1989! Come on! Let’s Carry On… Regardless! East Bedlington Parish Council Chariman Keith Grimes said, “This fabulous festival formally known as Northumberland Live Bedlington is back with a new name and a new look taking place at Gallagher Park in Bedlington this Summer, where we are thrilled to welcome The South as being our headline act this year having recently completed a successful Spring 2019 UK tour, alongside Chloe Rose and CBeebies presenter Sid Sloane. This festival is suitable for all members of the family.
