Eeeeh, Isn't It Cold?
That sounds really cold, Joe. I reckon even a geordie lass would wear a coat in those conditions.

Green Bins At Xmas
If you're that concerned, simply hang on to your excess paper for a fortnight and put it in the green bin after it has been emptied.

Never mind those Dragonforcers guys and their "tubbyboohoo mommy stopped my allowance, let's drink some cider and invoke demons" schtick, get your laughing gear around some German lounge lizard hipster tunes here. All top tackle, notably "Bodybuilding" which was robbed lock, stock and barrel by the excellent Bentley Rhythm Ace for "Bentley's Gonna Sort You Out".

Actually, death to all metal. It's rubbish. A bit of Lawrence Welk or Bert Kampfaert, now you're talking. ANDY WILLIAMS POSSE INNA D AREA!!!!!!11!!- Heavy Metal
Death to false metal! \m/- In Loving Memory
Did "Wallaw" used to be a popular generic name for cinemas, like Rialto and Odeon? I always thought the one in Blyth was some freakishly-named aberration.- Eeeeh, Isn't It Cold?
Easy with the swearing there, Denz. We aren't all East End costermongers, scuffling on the cobbles after a debate regarding the relative merits of our respective blood oranges.- In Loving Memory
The Wallaw was in Blyth.- Eeeeh, Isn't It Cold?
It's snowed. Still baltic as well.- In Loving Memory
Ladies and gentleman, a moment's silence to reflect on the passing of a legendary boozer. I refer, of course, to the Domino aka the Ranch aka Lucy's aka The Palace. Since this website has been "off the air" this much-loved night spot has closed down and been bulldozed. A sad end. So, no more dancing to "I like to move it". No more chips and ketchup washed down with snakey and black. No more personal appearances by Steve McFaddens off of Eastenders. Sorry, I appear to have something in my eye. The "olden days" Domino thread- Of The Month - December 2005
Get in there! Hats off!- Factoids
Hmm. I'll allow that steel has been recovered from WWI battleships. The stuff about radioactivity rings a bit untrue, though. Radioactivity wasn't created in 1945, it's always been there. Even if it is true, there's still no link to materials used on moon landings. Still, if it turns out to be true, there'll be a fulsome apology waiting for you.- Factoids
Do you have a source for this rather tall tale?- Factoids
I'll choose "Not" then.- What Life Taught Me Today...
Stand down the grandchildren, Joe. My mouse is working again! It seems there was dirty work at the crossroads and my system file had been hacked. The nice people at Microsoft had the solution though. GIDDY UP!!!!!!!!111!!!!!!!!!!!- Eeeeh, Isn't It Cold?
I'll tell you what, it's cold enough to freeze the balls off of a brass monkey. And that's swearing.- Eeeeh, Isn't It Cold?
It's bliddy freezing, isn't it?- Shop Pronunciation
Welcome aboard, Onilkleymoorbaht. I'd often wondered the same thing vis-a-vis "Tyche".- Market Place - What's Happening?
Quite right too. The council should be doing all it can for those poor unfortunates in their shanty town squalor. It's a well known fact that every single Bedlington top end !*!@# owns a solid gold house, wipes their bottom on five pound notes and uses their coal bunkers to keep diamonds in. Our elected officials are doing a sterling job in redistributing the wealth.- Alnwick
"Chianti...Swalnalla...Strattele....Lorna...Brinkburn Priory...The Dirty Bottles. Can you hear me Dirty Bottles? Your boys just took one hell of a beating!" Or rather, hats off to Hexham for capturing the prestigious Country Life "Best Market Town in Britain 2005" pennant. Appositely enough, it was around the time the old board went "off the air" that Alnwick last won this award. Was it a boon or a bugbear? Did it change your lives? Or was it just a load of hooey? - Heavy Metal
