  1. Ok, here's a question for GGGG & GGG or the owners of the domain. Have you made arrangements in your wills regarding the future of this site?

Those of us who've been here for years, especially those of us who contributed to the 'old' bedders site, might be concerned about the fate of this place should GGGG/GGG croak. When the last site 'went dark' for a couple of years (I'm sure it was that long) I, and maybe others, felt a sense of loss or disconnection from our shared experience of being from Bedders. I'm sure that was strongly felt by us exiles.

I don't think you have anything to worry about in regards to this. Unless you know something that I don't?!

For the people by the people!

    Shared ownership or else!

    Curtains.

As explained previously Maggie, the website is essentially ran by the community for the benefit of the community. It always has been.

We're not reptilian overlords or have any affiliation with Rupert Murdoch so there's nothing to worry about

  2. Maggie, the owners of the site are all regular users of the site and have never profited in any way shape or form from the site.

It is run on a voluntary basis for the community by people in the community. Any content on here is obviously publicly shared at your own will and available to anyone who registers on the site but the owners of bedlington.co.uk are not out to make money from the community.

Unfortunately not everyone utilises what is offered on a plate to them hence the people that frequent this site are usually genuine and trustworthy.

Bedlington.co.uk is not a big brand and if you notice there is very little spam or other things which you generally find elsewhere.

    Use it as you will.

  3. I was actually reading a good article on binaural beats in a magazine which I found highly interesting. It was based around the ability which music has to take the mind, body and soul to another plane due to the frequencies delivered through music.

Some producers and music obviously subconsciously does this but I do believe that music has the ability to heal, generally related to the fact that we attach emotions and memories to music but I love having a proper headphone moment where you close your eyes and get lost in the music.

  4. The leaflets you seen were for Synergy Physiotherapy Maggie not the radio station in this thread.

Synergy Physiotherapy is located further down Front Street East and I do believe that there is a new member on here from there.

See the news article that they posted -->

Although audio therapy is something I do highly rely on :dj:

  5. I just love the completely out-of-the-blue "Maybe because I am Jewish"! :D You won't do exactly what I want so you must be an anti-semite seems to work on lots of politicos. Haven't heard much from Cherie Blair since her little critique of Israeli treatment of the Palestinians have we?

Some guy extracted a sample of one of our budget products once. I think we did get a half-baked magazine review out of it, but we were later ashamed we fell for the pitch! I'm surprised Eben didn't explain what a non-profit foundation means in real English, a concept obviously completely lost on "Steve"! :)

The lengths some people will go to is unreal.

  6. Well they have just built an eyesore of a two storey building on Choppington Road, just down from Glebe Road which appears to have the ability to house half of Northumberlands elderly and the plans to build more residential care homes on Elliotts garage site.

I can't see there being much more demand for elderly housing for a while.
