  2. i was reading an article today about Samsung increasing the price of the processors that it sells to apple for their tablets and phones, not sure if this is related to apple supposedly approaching to change suppliers to TBMC. either way do you think apple will take the hit for the price hike or pass this on to the consumer?!

Died at the age of 92 if I remember correctly.
  4. Well we managed to get down a couple of weeks ago and it was lovely, really nicely decorated and finished, the food was lovely and the staff were accommodating. We said to ourselves that it is a shame that we hadn't been sooner but it was a really nice night with lovely food. Will definitely be going back.
  5. I was a little late in starting but it's getting going now.
  6. And not having to stand in the cold 10 times per day.
  7. A couple of occasions where my hounds have done a runner the dog warden and the local people have always been helpful. Glad to hear that there are people willing to give up their time to benefit peoples pets.
  8. Okay kiddie winkles. I am partaking in Movember again but this year I thought that I would actually ask for donations as opposed to just growing a moustache. Clean shaven for the first time in about 10 years but should be on schedule for a handlebar in time to go to Manchester. Shaving was painful, there was blood and hair and screams so donate just for that if you like. http://mobro.co/BrettMiller20

  10. If you have a decent phone there is Google Sky Map which is really good for identifying such information Keith. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.stardroid&hl=en Download and install it to your phone then you hold your phone up in the direction you are looking and it identifies what it is that you are looking at.

  15. No problem, yeah they are a bit of a pain installing them into bevelled panels to be honest and if you take the panel out you have to make sure that when you put it back in that the panel is properly toe and heeled so that the door doesn't catch when closing. Just let me know as I know a lad in Bedlington that would be able to do it for you.
  16. You can buy the cat flaps that fit into UPVC doors, would depend on what sort of panel was fitted however. If your door is just the door surround without the transom or mullions fitted then you can remove the beads around the edge of the door to get the panel out to lie it flat (Lie it on a sheet to prevent scratching) The cat flaps come with a gasket that fits around the edge of the unit and the flap doesn't actually screw into the panel, the screws go through to the other side and clamp the unit together so that it holds in place, much like a letterbox. Quick bead of silicone around the edge once fitted back in the door to prevent any unwanted leaks. Found this video to explain a bit better but can't watch it at work so not sure how helpful it is?? http://www.videojug....-fit-a-cat-flap Edit: I may be able to get someone to quote you for fitting one if you like.
  17. Sent an email round the department at work and got some votes going :-)
  18. Did you sit and go through every option Malcolm or is there a way to find a league table if you will?
  19. I said to the wife, "Get me a newspaper" "Don't be silly," she said "You can borrow my iPad" That spider never knew what hit it. *** I fostered a chav kid yesterday.....All six cans hit him full in the face.
  20. A sweet grandmother telephoned St. Joseph 's Hospital. She timidly asked, "Is it possible to speak to someone who can tell me how a patient is doing?" The operator said,"I'll be glad to help, dear. What's the name and room number of the patient?" The grandmother in her weak, tremulous voice said,"Norma Findlay, Room 302." The operator replied, "Let me put you on hold while I check with the nurse's station for that room." After a few minutes, the operator returned to the phone and said, "I have good news. Her nurse just told me that Norma is doing well. Her blood pressure is fine; her blood work just came back normal, and her physician, Dr. Cohen, has scheduled her to be discharged tomorrow." The grandmother said,"Thank you. That's wonderful. I was so worried.God bless you for the good news." The operator replied,"You're more than welcome. Is Norma your daughter?" The grandmother said,"No, I'm Norma Findlay in Room 302. No one tells me anything"
  21. Officially moderated Malcolm I have asked one of my colleagues who lives in Bedlington to vote
  22. Mrs Brettly heard this yesterday, shook the whole house so have reason to believe it's closer to home than Blyth. They shooting piles or something into the ground at Elliott's? Some kind of groundwork causing it?
