  1. Judge listens to the evidence, then disregards it all and decides what the hell he likes based on how he feels that day.

Innocent, Honest person goes to jail because they told the truth, under caution, and was convicted because they were the only ones stupid enough to admit to any part in it, therefore it must have all been their fault.

Police go to pub, celebrating their 'victory' and the extra points they have to show the government what a good job they are doing.

Its all ****** wrong, and i for one am sick of it. I think i'll move to France.

So,this "honest" person who told the truth (under caution) was convicted because he admitted a part in it? He was hardly innocent then

I would say it must have been his fault too

    Did he get tazered?

  2. It`s been reported on the news that the police are to be equiped with electronic taser weapons.

It is argued that tasers provide a non-lethal way to detain violent and potentially violent criminals. They incapacipate people by firing electric charges into their body, but is said to do no lasting damage. Even the threat of taser deployment can calm many situations.

However, opponents of taser use have previously argued that such weapons can indeed cause significant health problems. Amnesty International says they are "inhumane" and has documented 245 deaths as a result of taser use.

    What do YOU think?

I think some drunken idiots will go out and cause trouble to GET tasered so they can brag to thier mates... So if was a copper in those situations i'd accidentally aim for the eyes... or !*!@# ... then get my night stick out to finish them off

  3. i would be nice to have a decent supermarket in bedlington!

anyway hopefully they'll put somerfield out of business as its over priced and grotty!!!!

No they've bought both places , I heard its becoming a large Tescos

  4. If it was true that Tesco was going to open up a store in Bedlington, it would have been in the papers and everyone would know about it.

But if it did happen, it wouldnt be a big store, it would just be a corner shop type Tesco.

Its true, and theyve bought the co op next door... better than ASDAs I reckon!!!

  5. Harsh, but maybe some truth there...

the 'i wont be touched coz i'm too young' colture needs to stop.

I'm sure the dad thought it was pretty harsh when the first brick trudded into his head. Harsh MY !*!@# these little bastards needed whipping from the time they first played up, then you wouldn't have the bother around now. If these kids were brought up in a more Masculine enviroment they wouldnt be such pricks. I blame all this left wing !*!@#.... lets treat them all the same !*!@#... males females etc ... boys are murdering little bastards as soon as they hit 5-6 ...if not controlled thats what they remain!

  6. Kids today .... as young as ten when the crime was commited . ... stoning a dad to death while he was playing cricket with his sons.... bubbling in court today when found guilty with their parents ... tho during in the trial messing about and getting their heads down during the procedings. The little darlings are now going to jail... maybe the parents should be crying for their own uselesness in controlling their kids ... but i doubt it... they will no doubt flogging their stories to some rag as soon as the vermin are locked up... but i think they should be (locked up) ..that'd wipe the tears from their eyes .. and i guess they'd wished they terrorised their little darlings earlier like the dogs they were!!!!

  9. Do you mean the Death Sentence Dave?

I was listening to the news on the radio at 6 and most of it was grim, some of it really horrible and sickening. Sometimes I think that some people deserve it... but then I think maybe death is only the quick way out and that they should be made to live out their punishment. Then I think well, prison inst really a punishment these days anyway... so I don't know.

Prisons should be made to be hell on earth I think.

Shot in the napper and kicked in the sea

  10. Nice thought! Pity US reality gets in the way. When we went to visit our kids in Ontario, my wife and I decided to cross the border into New York state. This is only about a hundred KM or so from Oakville, Ontario.

When I made Hotel reservations at the automobile association, I decided to take out a few days health insurance, what with the exorbitant US doctors and hospital fees. Bad move, and very good move!

When I completed the questionaire, the lady read it and turned white.

You can't cross with your health record, she exclaimed. It seems that there is some kind of points level, at which the insurnace company cut you off as uninsurable.

And with four separate potentially fatal conditions in my answers, I was not the healthy, profitable candidate the company longs for. She talked to her manager, said manager officially declared me uninsurable, and personally begged not to risk crossing into any US territory. She assured me that US care, especially with my plethora of pre-existing conditions would amount to enormous amounts of money, in no time at all.

I hadn't even thought of it, let alone worried about the cost of any type of health costs in the US.

In the end, my wife went across on her own, returning the next morning, and we spent a more reasonable amount of dollars in Ontario and New Brunswick. The loss of the US health system was our gain.

While I was in the CAA office, I decided to ask the inevitable question. Yes, she replied, I could probably obtain health insurance to visit the UK. But no, she did not think that it would by any means affordable. So it seems that I will not be going home, ever!

    Thanks for the thought though!

    Regards, Joe

Aye the NHS is a great thing really
