thats quite an ambition you got! my ambition is to prove that man did not land on the moon, yes it was all a big hoax just like crop circles!
Try proving the existence of a deity, that could be very lucrative, ...lol..... another hoax.

No, no makems for the Toon
Could be right Pete, the Irish and West Indians are doing the job over in Mackem land.
-
!*!@# ......bit harsh ain't it? you could at least say let the terrorist packie scum kill them selves! not decent people only doing there job to try and bring law and order to a hate filled land!
Very eloquent.....lol

3300 US dead in iraq http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/world/4717212.html
The world is overpopulated, hence too much methane produced by the animals needed to feed them. Reduce the human population by whatever means and that could significantly reduce global warming, stop eating beans would also help, or shoot them ......lol

I will look into this.
We've to finish the current skin properly anyway, but might possibly add another, or modify the Gallery specific CSS entries.
Cheers threegee, I appreciate your effort.

Does anyone have any idea about what used to be in Barrington.
Was there a pit there, and when did it close?
Was that the only industry?
Are these buildings still there? Did they belong to the coal board, or who else owned them?
My relative was described as a servant girl, living in office row, but I assume Office Row would not be where she worked, only lived.
Would love to hear of any history of this street, and/or Barrington.
Barrington was a separate colliery and village. http://www.dmm.org.uk/colliery/b035.htm Very little of it remains although I have seen some relevant local publications in my local newsagents recently.
yeah bedlington pit was located there, think it might have been the old colliery rows opposite nettos,Opposite Nettos?..... Barrington ......... Toony

I hope the teams below the Toon lose otherwise it could be an interest end to the season.

OK - try again please!
If no one tells me these things...
How about giving us a choice of background colours for the albums, I'd be happy with black.....

I think images any bigger than 100kb have trouble uploading, as does anything bigger than 800 x 600. If the image is a JPEG (Or JPG) format, try changing it to GIF, the quality wont be as good but the size will decrease... either that or just shrink the image.
The smaller images look terrible when increased to almost full screen.

Ms Hair,
I must warn you that I have five daughters, any one of whom would thump you, if they heard that plaintive "But I am just a girl"!
Regards, Joe.
I have a feeling your comment will not be understood around here Joe.

Thanks Swalnalla, I like the birdies myself (Ref feathered type). They are one creature in this world that has real freedom, they can go where they like when they like and they do not need a passport to go to another country.
There are many 'great bustards' in Bedlington Pete, without feathers.
-
Get a !*!@#, they 'purr' when petted.
-
Just added three from my hard drive, no problems
I like the 'birdie' pix Pete.
-
Thanks Threegee, it works fine now.
Only to view Threegees wonderful pix, I can't get it to work with my junk at all. {Even a pic of less than 40kb.}

Too true Joe, there are too many Monsta's who make excuses, plenty lip service and no action.
