Well the petition went in yesterday against the crossing. Also 7 letters of objection from residents, that's the ones I know about! One thing bothers me though, the sneaky cooncil have already dropped the curbs and marked in paint where the poles are going as well as putting a new drain in! I may be wrong, as I frequently am, but seeing as the date for objections was yesterday (22nd). Should the cooncil have done this? It seems, as I said in a previous post, that I have been wasting my time, that this crossing was a fore gone conclusion no matter what objections were raised!

Pete Tesco now own the car park! After they rebuild, the car park will be customer parking only 2hrs. Wansbeck don't exist any more! Northumberland County Council (Coonsil) are still looking into parking charges across Bedlington, but it will happen at some point.

We should follow the French! Take to the streets to show this elected and non elected government what we really think of them! :dribble:

One more Pete though this one not a golfer, bloke over heard me talking to a mate in the paper shop, about the cats he says he was driving past golf course and nearly crashed his car when a big cat ran across the road in front of him, swears blind it wasn't a fox as he has seen plenty of them in his time. Same as the others didn't want to say owt before, in case of ridicule!

Why in Gods name ask Ian Lavery to open the pub - I've never seen the man in Bedlington - come on Wetherspoons be a bit more progressive and lets have some person we all know!

Wetherspoons are not interested in our views. I pointed out a few facts to them about this person on another site, there were a few others with the same views, low and behold all our posts were deleted and all that remains are the lick my backside posts and I'll lick yours.

Wetherspoons, what a start to life in Bedlington, not doing your homework, upsetting your potential clientele, what a chance you have thrown away with the people of Bedlington by inviting this non entity to visit our town never mind open one of our new business's!
