Answer me this:

Where`s the best place to go to meet an ex long running Corrie member who also starred in "The Scapegoat" & was in the latest "Pirates of the Caribbean" film?

The River Wansbeck at Sheepwash. That`s where!

I was sunning myself in the car park, whilst reading Facebook, when a bloke spoke as he walked past with his dog.

The voice was familiar but without my specs on I didn`t see his face properly.

Spoke to him again when he walked back along the river path.

It was ex Street star Ian Mercer (Gary Mallett)

Signed him up for Synergy interview: nice chap

He was living at Bothal Barns the last I heard.

He now lives in Guide Post he tells me.

His daughter used to go to Chantry Middle. He did a Olde Worlde cooking DVD which they sold to make some money. I helped with the post production of it but never met him during it`s recording.

Got a glass to the floor ready, none of that new-fangled wireless nonsense for me :)

will it be streamed on the internet? if it is will there be a link on Bedlington.co.uk ? what will be your hours broadcasting?

It will and there will. The link on Bedders will show in the sidebar as last time and there's a schedule on the synergyradio.co.uk website at http://synergyradio.co.uk/schedule/

Thanks to whoever tweaked the streaming, it's no longer distorting and now very listen able.

Some great stuff, but when are we going to get it back for good?

Anyway, a really really great community effort that everyone in Bedders should be pushing hard for. Congratulations to everyone involved.

You went out of signal about Benwell.

We are enjoying listening when we can.

The cadets talking this afternoon sounded well informed and motivated.

I got it as far as Tynemouth.

It crashed amongst the high buildings in the village.

Well done frame at last.

A mention by Stephen Fry and a retweet!

My Grandkids were arguing yesterday about who Ian Lavery sounded like in the family.

They were not listening too deeply to the political issues!

Sorry

The signal goes as far as The Simonside Hills as long as you are on higher ground.

Sacred hills!

The tracks you played this afternoon Colin, are almost a sound track to our lives.

Maybe we should start an inheritance track topic.
