Our aim is to deliver a weekly selection of locally-sourced fresh fruit and vegetables straight from the wholesalers direct to your door at a cost cheaper than your local supermarket.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately we don't need a delivery driver just yet but, fingers crossed, we will do in the near future. As we're still working around our current jobs we only deliver on a Saturday but once business increases we're hoping to extend this to a Tuesday and Thursday. The contents of the boxes are set by us each week but the basics like potatoes, carrots and apples are going to be there regularly.

I would definitely be interested in the service but it would be pretty dependant on the vegetables and fruit that is available. Is the fruit and vegetable available as an organic range or are they just locally produced?

We tend to buy alot of organic produce but struggle alot to balance the produce with the price and sometimes can't justify organic produce but if this was available at a competitive rate then definitely would consider the service with a fortnightly/weekly delivery.

Once again all the best for the business as I know there is a kind of niche for this as more and more people are getting into homegrown and locally sourced produce with things getting as expensive as they are.

The produce is all locally produced as an where possible but it is not organic, we are however comparing our prices to equivalent supermarket produce and do work out cheaper as we offer free delivery.

We do a fruit bag which has more fruit in than the family fruit and veg box contains. Last weeks had 6 golden delicious apples, 3 conference pears, 6 oranges, 1kg of bananas, a punnet of yellow plums and 3 tomatoes. You could order a box of veg only and add the fruit bag to it.
