Hi Venessa and welcome. How about some dates and location in Bedlington as this may help to narrow-down your enquiry. There was a Dunn family living as near neighbours when I was a lad so those dates/place may help establish if it was the same family as the one you're seeking.

Welcome to the site Vanessa, I new a few people from the Grange Park home back in the 70's.

Welcome Venessa. I never even knew there was a children's home in Bedlington! It would be Lovely to hear more about it. I'm sure you can find out a lot here.

The Grange Park children's home was on Reavley Avenue and there was also another home opposite the Ridge Farm - possibly in Rosedale.

There may have been a Peter Wilson at Bothalhaugh Gardens.
