Millne's Cycle & Radio Stores
@Alan Edgar (Eggy1948) I'm working on gathering info to go with these photos but everyone please feel free to comment if you have any insight. I also have a private album here with other family photos from Lairds House and elsewhere around Bedlington going back to 1893 that I'll move over to public albums once I've sorted through them for any with public interest.

Front Street East
Yes, it's next door to the Northumberland Arms. What is now the "Game On" games shop and was a florists for a while.

Connecting to bedlington.co.uk - welcome is throwing an error
It's unblocked at McAfee so there may be a local cache that needs updating on your computer. Try again in a few hours. To workaround you can whitelist the 31.193.136.176 IP

Connecting to bedlington.co.uk - welcome is throwing an error
Should be fixed now

Connecting to bedlington.co.uk - welcome is throwing an error
On further investigation it looks like they have an issue with the IP address which is shared with other web sites so it's possible there is another objectionable one. I have contacted McAfee for a review/more info.

Connecting to bedlington.co.uk - welcome is throwing an error
That's odd. Are the settings set quite restrictive to block forum/bulletin boards? McAfee doesn't seem to have any issues with the site in general.

Is Keith Lockey still a member?
Sure. This is a public community, post away and any members that can help will. The History Hollow forum is a good place to start with any questions on that topic. https://www.bedlington.co.uk/forums/forum/14-history-hollow/

Info > About Bedlington > Sixtownships
It looks like they let the sixtownships website domain name expire. I have removed the link and added one to Past Times History Group in its place. Thanks for pointing this out.

Bedlington.co.uk 2021 Refresh
I have made some more updates to the site for 2021. Generally the look & feel has been cleaned up and compatibility with mobile devices has been improved further. There are still a couple of things being worked on due in the next couple of months.

How do I remember all these PIN codes?
Incidentally storing all your passwords in plain text in a spreadsheet is a very bad idea. 😉 What you need is a password manager such as LastPass or 1password. Next best is your os/browser password manager (what you are doing when you opt to save usernames and passwords after logging in). The difference between this and a spreadsheet is the passwords are stored encrypted protected by your primary password. https://www.getsafeonline.org/protecting-yourself/passwords/
