Anzac Day
I am not a badge of honour, I am not a racist smear, I am not a fashion statement, To be worn but once a year, I am not glorification Of conflict or of war. I am not a paper ornament A token, I am more. I am a loving memory, Of a father or a son, A permanent reminder Of each and every one. I'm paper or enamel I'm old or shining new, I'm a way of saying thank you, To every one of you. I am a simple poppy A Reminder to you all, That courage faith and honour, Will stand where heroes fall.

Anzac Day
My wife and i attended dawn service to commemorate the landings 100 years sgo on the beaches in Turkey. We wre encouraged by the number of young people and familys present at the service, i would estimate around 2000 folks were there not bad for a small city like ours. Also remembering My Grandfather Albert Moore Gibbon who was killed in France six days before this filthy war finished. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.

Good Jokes: Not For The Faint-Hearted (Adult content)
SATAN IN CHURCH A few minutes before the church services started, the congregation was sitting in their pews and talking among friends. Suddenly, in a flash of light, Satan appeared at the front of the church! Everyone started screaming and running for the exits, trampling each other in a frantic effort to get away from evil incarnate. Soon the church was empty except for one elderly cowboy who sat calmly in his pew without moving, seemingly oblivious to the fact that God's ultimate enemy was in his presence. So Satan walked up to the man and said, 'Do you know who I am?' The old cowboy replied, 'Yep, sure do.' 'Aren't you afraid of me?' Satan asked. 'Nope, sure ain't.' said the cowboy. 'Don't you realize I can kill you with one word?' asked Satan. 'Don't doubt it for a minute,' returned the old man, in an even tone. 'Did you know that I can cause you profound, horrifying AGONY for all eternity?' persisted Satan. 'Yep,' was the calm reply. 'And you are still not afraid?' asked Satan. 'Nope,' said the old cowboy. More than a little perturbed, Satan asked, 'Why aren't you afraid of me?' The old cowboy calmly replied, 'Been married to your sister for 48 years.'
