Quiz Connections
Keith, Looks like we'll have to share the prize,so before Lockey jumps in and chooses for us we should pick our own. I'm not quite sure what feature of a woman attracts me but I think my choice is going to be a night with either Katy Price, my namesake Samantha Fox or Dolly Parton.

Blyth Shipyard
It was the dates that were the problem, I've got them now but had I known Old Francis Moore was using this site then I could have saved John and Adam the trouble. I'll certainly keep you in mind for next time though.

Can anyone tell me the name of the last two ships launched at Blyth before the closure of the shipyard? I've got some photos that I would like to identify. Can't find anything on google.

La Torre ( Above The Millfield) Bedlington
What a great place this has turned out to be.They were celebrating their first 12 months since reopening last night and laid on a free Buffet for the regulars and their families. Great atmosphere and the place was heaving, Well done to managment and staff!!

Where's The Justice
No Malcolm, I'm an ardent supporter of Wetherspoons when I can get served. I went in there last Thursday night and I was fully aware of the new system that seems to be operating in there where you win a Goldfish if you manage to get served within 10 minutes, thats wether the bar is busy or quiet. However the bar was quiet and I was attended to in 9 minutes and 50 seconds so missed out on the Goldfish by a mere 10 seconds.I was fully expecting to be offered anything from the second shelf as a consolation but no luck there either. Mind you, I did feel guilty disturbing the bar staff when they had to be dragged out of the back room to attend the bar. Never mind I'll keep trying.

Where's The Justice
Now that the finger of accusation of racial abuse is being pointed at the referee Mark Clattenburg after yesterdays match at Chelsea, I wonder if the F. A are going to hang one their "own" out to dry before any inquest, as they did with Mr Terry.

Police Commissioners
I wonder if there's any chance we could get Commissioner Gordon out of retirement. He took his lot from Gotham City in the late sixties and to date has still not been accused of Pension and Expenses scams, Nepotism, tearing up Speeding Tickets or Driving under the influence. They don't seem to make them like that nowadays.
