BORDER PATROL ALERT The British Border Patrol is asking citizens to keep on the lookout for a red 1951 Chevy that they suspect is being used to smuggle illegal immigrants from Calais to Dover , through the Channel Tunnel. If you see the vehicle, pictured below, and have reason to believe that it is the suspect vehicle, you are urged to contact your local police.

The young'n tells him, "Get yourself two sticks of dynamite, one with a short fuse and one with a long fuse. Put them both under the outhouse and light them both at the same time. The first one will go off and shoot the outhouse in the air. While it's in the air the second one will then go off and spread the poop all across your farm, fertilizing your ground. The outhouse should then come back down to the same spot atop the now-empty hole..." Pa thanks the neighbour, then drives to the hardware store and picks up two sticks of dynamite, one with a short fuse and one with a long fuse. He goes home and puts them under the outhouse. He then lights them and runs behind a tree. All of a sudden, Ma comes running out of the house and into the outhouse! Off goes the first stick of dynamite, shooting the outhouse into the air. BOOM! Off goes the second stick of dynamite ... spreading poop all over the farm. WHAM! The outhouse comes crashing back down atop the hole..... Pa races to the outhouse, throws open the door and asks, "Ma, are you all right??!!" As she pulls up her panties she says.... Yeah, "But I'm sure glad I didn't fart in the kitchen."

I've just had a letter back from Screwfix. They said they regretted to inform me that they're not actually a dating agency.

Looks like Christine has it in the bag with USA, Japan, UK and EU backing. She is in China rustling up support there too. There just might be a fly in the ointment though, the Bernard Tapie scandal which should break if the French judiciary get their act together and make a decision. Her involvement in that warrants closer scrutiny.

Because there is a lack of anywhere else suitable I have meetings there too and even the pretentious coffee is a good price. I have had meetings in the ubiquitous coffee shop at Morpeth, £2.50 a cup and the Bedlington Red Lion 0.80p a cup. As for beer, normally 3 of us turn out and a round was £8.60 in one of the pubs, £6.80 in the cluurb, and £5.00 in the Red Lion! There does seem to be a problem getting served however and on more than one occasion we have walked out after 10 minutes of standing at the bar.

Been working on a similar idea myself Merc, although probably from a slightly different angle.

I wasn't trying to be crass Mr D only complementary. The puzzle is about moving things around to get the right fit at the right time and suits a logical brain. That's what supply chain logistics are all about.

I think it's too blunt an instrument GGG; we can't possibly flip from a diet of uncontrollable debt into a nation of saving (earning) to spend. We could if we accepted the huge bust but now we have indebted our grandchildren so we didn't have that to suffer. Interesting link btw………..
