  8. I'm sorry you were not happy with conduct of the Meeting Neil. It is a difficult task chairing meetings as I chair the Services Committee but I am all for the public participating in the meeting as the public most of the time know more then the Councillors. I take the example of the building to the rear of 21 front street east (old Blacksmiths) I did not know the history of the site and I only found out about it thanks to the public. But I will make sure Councillors are aware of the public's want to participate in the meetings at the next meeting.
  9. Would be good to speak with the signal man at the station signal box, if you wanted to get the exact position of the photo.
  10. You should try chairing a services meeting and keeping everyone happy, that's not an easy task.
  11. Just to let the public know who have never been to a full council meeting before, they can last 1-2 hours if the agenda is short and 3-4 if it is long depends what is on the agenda at the time and as well how many Councillors attend, under this proposal all business will go to full council meaning the agenda will be very long.
  12. Sorry Maggie, It is the NCC Core strategy options consultation which looks at all sorts of different things, Greenbelt, Housing etc. and the next full West Bedlington Town council meeting is on the 12th December a few matters on the agenda, which will be uploaded on the council website and Facebook page. Also about the Publicity we are sorry this is an issue we are looking to resolve ASAP.
  13. It is the Dr Pit colliery Banner.
  14. North Ridge and Ridge Terrace were back to normal by 2.30pm Nobody was hurt and business was as normal at the school.
  15. Nelson Mandela a great leader and man of the people, he will be missed by all.
  16. I wonder who the person is in the black coat on the third photo, He very looks familiar.
  17. The only thing that could be done to maybe save the school/church hall is for the county council to try a compulsory purchase order. But that costs a lot of money, however a County Councillor has stated that at the entrance to St Benet Biscop one of the houses there could be compulsory purchased then knocked down to allow the buses to enter easier. So the County Council does have money for a compulsory purchase order but I doubt they are interested in the old School/church hall.
  18. For those who don't know Tesco's Planning permission runs out in February 2014, Hopefully if the planning runs out Tesco's will have to hand the land back under the agreement they have, but I will not hold my breath.
