Close enough Keith i was going to be picky with the answer, as i was looking for they were all Lieutenant commander in the US Navy in the Pacific during World War 2. I can't think of a prize so sorry about that.

A sad moment was announced today (18th March) that Frank Thornton has Died peacefully in his sleep. I would like to say that i am a fan of Frank Thornton performance's in all the films and TV Series he was in, he was one of the best and he will be sadly missed, Rest In Peace Frank Thornton.

Parish/Town Councillor's don't get paid only town councils can give out expenses (travel, etc.) and parish/town councils are very informal you don't have to wear a suit and tie, only the county council is stressful and formal, that or being an M.P or M.E.P.

I was at home or at school, i only really remember the BBC news reporter being near the first tower then screaming and then the people all running was only 8 at the time so i did not really understand what was going on at the time or why it had happened.

Interesting how a head of the National Coal Board was MP for Wansbeck in 1945 then Blyth Valley in 1950-1964, Alfred Robens Also helped Create the Health and Safety at work act 1974 the Health and Safety Commission and the Health and Safety Executive.
