My great Grandad was an ambulance driver during the first world war, can't imagine what he saw (mustard gas victims, Gunshot wounds, Shrapnel wounds, missing body parts, etc). He never talked about it to anyone in the family.

Make them pay from the damge caused and mail lost, then put some stocks in the Market place and put them in them and let the public throw rotten fruit and veg at them.

The problem is the drains are pre 1930's and can't deal with the ammount of waste going down them from all the houses built from the 30's onwards also the drains will most likely be blocked which will not be helping the problem any.

The thing is that has been left like that without any support since he knocked down the garage, I knew it would be only a matter of time before the road was damaged in some way also his reply of "Its too cold to lay concrete". does not hold water (no pun intended) because it has not been too cold since he started work, the county or Highways Agency should fine him for the damage, as this has been caused thank to his actions.
