Excellent news that we are to be able to tell people the history of Bedlington, for to long we have been associated with the Terrier and Alien's, i would love to play a major part in this and i hope others do to.

It is a disgrace Tesco's was allowed to buy the business then force the person out, also county sold the car park to Tescos but it was not county's to sell how can they both get away with that?

The best thing for us the UK to do would be to withdraw for the EU but have a trade agreement with the EU so we don't lose any trade, whatever we trade now a days.

Very true, a coke works at Blaydon Burn used to use the waste heat for the coke works to produce Electricity, another near Swalwell used to send surplus Electricity to the nearby colliery and surplus gas to the local gas company, then they had the coke to send to steel works so three loads of energy from one coke works. Shows where we have to head.

I argee. It is a waste of money, i watched to news and they said the election cost £1.1 million and the max pay for a police and crime commissioner is £100,000 and there are 41 of them adds on another £4.1 million so £5.2 million has/will be spent, at a time of cuts is it not a waste of money that should be used on something like taking a bit off the national debt or paying for more police officer's?

If your talking about Bedlington Malcolm it would be 1% turn out, i went to vote (so i have the right to complain about it) and there was only four people there, me and then three of the ones that were there to help.

A sad moment was announced (7th November) that Clive Dunn has Died after complications from an operation. I would like to say that i am a fan of Clive Dunn's performance in dads army he was one of the best and he will be sadly missed, Rest In Peace Clive Dunn.

In addition to what Malcolm said the Chair said the second petition was about the same issue as the first (a toucan crossing) however it was quoted in their agenda of the 21st June 2012 under letters received and sender NCC "Notification of a petition handed to them re traffic congestion and public safety at St Benet Biscop School." Now does that sound the same as a petition for a toucan crossing? -
Is it me or would anyone class these two videos as left wing? Just wondering because of being called a left winger and this is my favourite film. Please be warned this video does contain one bad swear word: so that will be a fiver in the swear box from me.

Is this the bridge you are talking about? If so it is part of the old waterworks as if you look while walking down the woods you see a big pipe (the remains of it) all the way to the "bridge"
