Elderberry wine (made entirely from elders in my garden) is festering away very nicely and we will see how that has turned out next summer,

Some turd licking lowlife has nicked the lights from the station xmas tree. Its just a pity that they weren't electrocuted whilst taking them off

I had a bad night last night. (In fact half the street did). 1.30 am two fire engines, one fire chief's car, three police vehicles and an ambulance descended on our small cul-de-sac, the only thing that was missing was the helicopter!!! So come last night I was zonked. Still don't know what it was about believe it or not!
Too many candles ...... happy birthday marra

Dare I turn up ? was stood there on my own frozen stiff on Thursday. Brian, the Red line wouldn't let me in cos I was shaking too much and couldn't hold a drink without spilling it . The local kids were jumping on my back too see who could stay on the longest .

The status quo would still be maintained Maggie, either way.....
That's why its important to use things like those surveys we have just sent aorund, at least you get some input!
How much maintenance do Rick Parfett and Francis Rossi need like ?

Matty Hall rived a lump out of my ass with his blackboard ruler. It had a crack in it and when it connected with my butt it nipped ,ripped my (short) trousers and took a lump of flesh with it. The crime ? Two of us were caught drinking the milk and refilling(topping up) the bottles from a fire extinguisher. People I bump into to this day still talk about it.

Thousand of dyslexic South Africans have been seen placing floral tributes outside a Nissan Main dealer in Pretoria

I heard yesterday that the development on the old Elliots garage site is running £250, 000 over budget now. Could Bedlington be lumbered with a half built eyesore if the developer runs out of cash ?

Isn't that the cast from Les Miserable!
Who's Les Miserable ? Did he drive the Raisbeck on a Saturday night ?

You softie!
You did not have the prevailing SW wind howling across from beyond Stannington.
Lovely view after the opencast but the air conditioning metal windows let in the cold and wind..
Extra layers that was and is the answer.
Tell you what though Maggie, those kids don't seem to have gone without a good meal very often !!

Will it stop at Bedlington Station ?

If red squirrels are there, they are protected, get onto that lot at Plessey woods and they may get involved.

Wally's at the gate (the travellers) had the best broth in the county. All those poachers around there made sure it had the best of ingredients .

Harry (the rabbit) and Pat were in the Percy Brian. Sold it last year and it is now an Italian restaurant . Don't know if they are involved with the Clayton leek show though. Is Harry and Pat involved in the Clayton leek club Keefy ?

South Row was the miners houses down here in gods little acre (the station) Ran from about where the entrance to Bower Grange is to the railway crossing. The home next to the spar was the colliery managers house. The Easton homes opposite were the retired miners cottages.

Me and my bro were just on about Leek Club day at the Bedlington Terrier. It was always a grand do - ruddy good prizes and a boozy day-night for the leek club men. We remembered going out on broth night and having a cold beer and a hot bowl of broth in practically every pub - starting at the Terrier - Monkey - Red Lion, etc, with the subsequent results at the end of the night. (Cold beer and Hot broth do wonders for your bowel movements.)
Then I got thinking about the here and now in Bedlington. Are there ANY pubs in Bedlington that have a leek show or broth night? I can't think of any!
Clayton ,,,,,,,, bring a coat and hard hat though
