Listen, I understand where you're all coming from, but come on this is past a joke! I don't care where the money comes from, be it Lottery, cooncil or grants from Abu Dabi the fact remains when any project reaches Bedlington,that's if Bedlington was included in the first place, Oh! By the way there's no money left, or due to cuts you're not getting what we promised.Or there's no money available for Bedlington! Newbiggin £10 million on sand, Newbiggin Couple at sea, Don't know how much that cost (Waste of money anyway) Blyth now that's a market place, art features water features the works, that must of cost ten times as much as Bedlingtons. Blyth £10 million(Proposed) to do up shops to attract visitors. Ashington planned revamp around the bus station(AGAIN) Leisure centres in Ashington and Newbiggin, granted they are falling to bits, but I bet the money turns up to rebuild at least one of them. Now Bedlington, lets see, The Market Place, and even that's a joke! In the future when anything is planned that includes Bedlington, why not start in Bedlington, then the money can disappear when it reaches some place else, like Blyth Ashington or Newbiggin. I'm sick to death of posting the same thing over and over again, we've got to tell the county to go forth and multiply, we don't want or need you anymore we'll look after ourselves!

When, and if I go out, I like a game of pool, listen to the juke box and generally have a good time! Sitting in a stale environment with cheap beer, no music and no pool is not my idea of fun! Yes I'll use Wetherspoons, but, will soon move on to other establishments with some sort of entertainment. If all I wanted was cheap beer I'd just go to Netto's get 8 x 500ml cans for a fiver and sit in the house.

TomTom are the original owners back in the Swan, I believe they left to take over The Cherry Tree (Stakeford). Heard a while ago, or maybe read it some where, that they had returned. Don't know if this is still the case. They had a good reputation when they first opened. I remember at the time nobody giving them a chance but they soon changed peoples opinions once word got round.

Used to go there myself, can't say I can remember them, though this is nothing, as I can't remember much from this time

Mine are just observations as well, great start to a radio station if you can't take criticism. I suppose there must be something in what I say. Why else get so worked up.
