  1. It'll definately be on the net but I think we should push it to as many outlets as possible.
  2. Absolutely, that's what it's all about. Thanks for the offer I'll keep you in the loop.
  3. Some new street lighting going up on the opposite side of the street today. Maybe somebody is listening.
  4. Is it a modified Challenger 2 tank?
  5. Is it actually a production car, looks "photoshopped" to my trained eye.
  6. It looks like an Ultima GTR. Or at least based on one. 2004?
  7. Well I was going to add "Rap Battles" but I thought it could come under the umbrella of Live Music if the definition was stretched enough.
  8. It was yeah, at least then you only had 2 browsers to deal with. Now there are several different rendering engines all with their own little quirks to design around. You are partially right in that now at least they all claim to be following the standard HTML specs (Including Microsoft with version 8). Unfortunately, the spec is often interpreted differently by different manufacturers. Users also don't pick the browser based on how standards compliant it is, the majority "pick" the one that happens to be installed on their computer.
  9. Would make my job a lot easier though
  10. Here it is... The same picture is also in the galleries.
  11. Moved. I'm pretty sure there's already another Humford Woods thread around here somewhere with pictures. I'll hunt it down and post a link.
  12. This is what the stats say... Internet Explorer 62.73% Firefox 30.10% Safari 3.95% Chrome 2.51% Opera 0.35% Mozilla 0.22% Mozilla Compatible Agent 0.11% Playstation 3 0.03% I'd be interested to see how the Playstation 3 users are getting on
  13. Yeah you can't beat a good set of trailing tail lights. Incidentally, if anybody has any video footage of the town themselves, get in touch. It'll be far more interesting if it's community led and not just a couple of people's perspective.
  14. If any of you were wondering what I was doing sat at the side of the road this afternoon, I was getting some intro test shots for a promotional video for the town. It was very windy and I only took my lightweight tripod so the camera took a bit of a bashing and no colour correction has been applied. The footage is not as good as the final results will be I just wanted to get something up quickly to inspire people in order to gather some feedback and suggestions. What I was thinking was a day in the life of bedlington, showcasing some of the local businesses, candid and impromptu encounters in the street, whatever the market place events may be at the end of the month, the night time social scene and some local imagery. I think time lapse will play a big part due to the extended timeframe of events and it will allow people to see the town how they wouldn't normally see it. Bedlington singer/song writer Jason Vare AKA Shagpile has also very kindly agreed to provide the backing track. You can listen to some of his music at http://shagpile.org/ http://www.vimeo.com/6799846
  15. Reading between the lines this is a tax on the supermarket per parking space. I very much doubt supermarkets will introduce direct charging as it would involve extra expense in converting existing car parks and installing meters/barriers. If it did come into force I'd expect it to end up on your shopping bill through increased product prices.
  16. It's on the BBC iPlayer mate, whole match.
  17. Watching Ipswich v Newcastle, Match of the Day. BBC have done a great job of the intro, some of Bobby Robson's great moments in football, very moving.
  18. I think that will be a popular suggestion, although if it's anything like the first incarnation of the previous market place regeneration we may get that from mother nature for free.
  19. Do you want to see parking charges introduced in Bedlington?
